Casa peiso

as they say, people from rust have always been clever merchants. back in 1683, they managed to sell their sweet wine to emperor leopold I., obtaining the city right in return. 500 buckets of noble late harvest were carried to the imperial court of  vienna.

’s face of rust continues to tell of its rich history and traditions. it is indeed a town, even though a very rural one. facades of the mansions are witnesses to an on-going cultural development. the ideal spot to go for a walk, to enjoy the typical austrian “heurigen”wine  taverns and the excellent restaurants.
